It’s no wonder he’s been voted Las Vegas’ Entertainer of the Year 10 times — Danny Gans can sing! And not only does he sing well, he has the ability to sound like practically any performer you can imagine. Gans is also a great comedian, impressionist and actor, and all facets come out to play at his show at the Mirage.

He takes his audience on a journey through music of multiple genres and through it all, comedy abounds with altered lyrics and sideline jokes. The band, which plays an endless array of grooves and tunes is delightful in their abilities. Tim Manfredi changes it up throughout the performance by playing multiple instruments: keyboards, guitar and vocals, and even plays a few characters in support of Gans.

This Vegas show turns out to be as impressive as they say, and then some. With the seven-piece ensemble that includes trumpet, trombone and saxophone, you’re in for a great time. Having spent 11 years in Vegas, Gans, his band and crew are still packing the 1,250 seat theater at the Mirage.

Danny Gans performs every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm, and tickets cost $100. To purchase tickets, call 1-800-963-9634 between 6 am and 11 pm daily. Visit www.mirage.com for special blackout dates and more information.
